The Psychology of Banner Ads

According to a research that appeared in Journal of Consumer Research, repeated exposure to a product via banner ads generates a positive feeling towards that product. Experiments have proven that repeated exposure to a stimulus that's barely perceptible can enhance a person's feelings towards what's otherwise a neutral object. The following guidelines must be followed by every advertiser. Bannerspot review every banner image and destination URL submitted and reserves the right to reject any advertising that  deems contrary to our ad philosophy.

1. No advertiser should open more than one account or use any form of        automation in creation of any account.
2. Banner images and their respective URL destinations promoting   liquor, beer, wine or tobacco products are not allowed.
3. Websites promoting firearms and ammunitions are strictly forbidden.
4. Hate promoting and inflammatory religious content promoting websites are not allowed.
5. Websites with any  pornographic content are strictly forbidden.
